Valma Adventure Park is one of the largest and best-equipped summer event venues in Estonia. However, the SEO situation was such that organic traffic to the website was marginal. The client's request was very specific: they needed to rank quickly for certain keywords. The reason was simple — summer season events are booked well in advance, and every lost week meant lost revenue. Time was working against us, which is why we decided to carry out an SEO sprint — to address all technical and content-related tasks within two months, and then continue with link building.


The situation was further complicated by the fact that the client's website was outdated and did not meet modern SEO standards. This made the project something of an experiment as well: is it possible to achieve excellent rankings with an old-fashioned website? While the project was initially met with a degree of doubt and caution, as the days went on, we gained confirmation that with a smart SEO strategy, anything is possible — even from a weak foundation.

Process

The work process was fairly standard: Technical SEO — we tidied up the entire technical side, made URLs longer and more precise so that the page covered all keywords related to summer event organisation. For example, the keyword "suvepäevad" (summer days/events) was moved from position 78 to the very first position. We also reached the first position for the keywords "suvepäevade korraldamine" (summer event organisation) and "suvepäevade kohad" (summer event venues). Throughout this process, we were careful to avoid keyword cannibalisation.


Content strategy — we analysed competitors' content using SurferSEO and refined the website's texts so that they would precisely match the target keywords and pages would not compete against one another.


Authority and link building — we built high-quality links that elevated the domain authority from DR 17 to DR 31 (Ahrefs). Strategic link building is one of the fastest and most effective ways to improve SEO, particularly in the Estonian market, where businesses tend not to invest in this sufficiently — and even adding a few quality links can give you an edge over the competition.


The first results came quickly — by the end of April, the entire summer was essentially sold out. This was thanks to key keywords reaching the top positions and a significant growth in organic traffic. By the end of the project, Valma Adventure Park had reached precisely those positions where a large and outstanding summer event venue truly belongs.
