Punktid.com approached Convertali with the ambition of entering the global market, where several formidable competitors were waiting. The objective of the project was to grow keyword rankings and, through that, increase sales revenue. The target for organic traffic growth was set at 100%, while the goal for keywords ranking in the top 10 positions was an 80% increase.


Competing with enormously powerful global market leaders can only be successful through a highly intelligent strategy. Blog posts played a significant role — written on the basis of thorough keyword research and made as informative as possible. Rather than targeting keywords with the highest search volumes, the focus was placed on those where competition was not as fierce. High-quality content kept visitors on the page for longer, which also gave the blog posts a greater boost. The project also demonstrated well how backlinks may appear costly and complex, yet in reality they are well worth the investment. Backlinks were built in a similar fashion to the blog posts.


As a result of the project, the number of keywords ranking in the top 3 positions grew by 966% (from 15 to 160). Keywords ranking in positions 4 to 10 grew by 436% (from 130 to 697). The original objectives were therefore surpassed several times over.


Organic traffic had grown by 1,501% six months after the project commenced. Alongside the improvements in traffic and keyword rankings, sales revenue naturally followed suit. Organic sales revenue grew by 122% over the course of the project (from €223K to €497K).


The improved rankings brought with them higher-quality traffic, which in turn elevated the average organic traffic basket value by 308% in just three months.
